Born with a tool belt and wooden shoes, my mother immigrated from Holland along with her father, who became a general contractor in beautiful Muskoka.
As a little whipper snap’r, I watched eagerly and helped with many renos around the house. Throughout my 29 year marriage, we have moved 6 or 7 times, each time I did significant renovations and learned a lot along the way.
Many friends and family members have encouraged me to do this for a while now.
My wife has always been the “puppet master” behind the scenes, drawing everything together with the right colours, accents, textures, and style.
Many that have seen our homes, and the handful of friends homes she has done interior design for, have told her as well she needs to do this full time.
